Bury your nose in the luscious, shell-pink blooms of this sumptuous peony to enjoy its silky petals and delicate fragrance! Huge, 17cm wide blooms, composed of multiple layers of petals, are a luminescent pink with paler margins. The enormous flowers are borne on sturdy stems and make long-lasting vase specimens – if you can bear to cut them! This late season peony blooms from late spring to early summer, above a bushy mound of deep green, finely cut foliage. Height: 90cm (35") Spread: 60cm (24").

Bare roots should be planted at the earliest opportunity following delivery. Grow peonies in a sunny or semi shaded position on fertile, moist, well drained soil. Peony plants prefer a heavy soil that is rich in organic matter. Improve the soil prior to planting by adding plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost prior to planting. Plant herbaceous peonies so that the top of the crown is just 5cm (2”) below the soil surface, taking care not to plant too deeply as this may prevent or delay peonies from flowering.
More Info Feed and water peonies regularly until plants are fully established. In exposed positions the stems may require staking to support the large peony flowers. Cut back old foliage in autumn. When growing peonies on light sandy soil, a spring mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost may be applied around the base of the plant, taking care not to bury the crown as this may delay flowering.
