A rare gem amongst houseplants, Monstera dubia is a beautiful rainforest climber bearing heart-shaped, gorgeously variegated leaves which lie flat along the stem, so the plant has been mounted on a wooden plank to showcase the leaves to best effect. As the plant grows, the new leaves become bigger and bigger! A unique and worthy addition to any houseplant collection. Maximum height: 150cm (5ft).

1 x 14cm potted monstera plant (KC8514)

How to Grow

Place your Monstera dubia in a bright spot with plenty of natural light but not in direct sunlight. Avoid draughts and heat sources and keep temperatures above 15C. Water once the top couple of inches of the compost dries out, allowing excess to drain out the bottom, and feed during the growing season with a Monstera feed. This rainforest plant will also enjoy being misted. When the plant outgrows its pot, pot on using a loose, free-draining mix that is rich in organic matter, such as an aroid mix or an equal mix of orchid bark, coir or peat moss and perlite.
