A perfect combination of heat and cool shades with this spectacular marigold collection. We’ve put together two contrasting varieties of our customers’ favourite French Marigold to give you a display that will certainly take your breath away! By including both the cool, creamy-white shades of Marigold ‘French Vanilla’ and the sizzling hot Marigold ‘Fireball’ you will have quite a show in either your patio pots or flowerbeds. Definitely a perfect summer mix! Marigold ‘French Vanilla’ is known for producing masses of large blooms that are pure in their colour, while Marigold ‘Fireball’ has petals which start a deep red shade, turning slowly to bronze and finishing a glowing rusty orange. Height and Spread: up to 45cm (18”)

60 marigold garden ready plants (30 of each variety) (TKA7383)

How to Grow
Pot up marigold plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise marigolds to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days and transplant them into their final positions in containers and borders. Plant marigolds in well drained soil in full sun. When growing marigolds pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on.
More Info
Feed and water marigold plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Regular deadheading of marigold flowers will encourage further blooms to be produced throughout the summer. Culinary note: Marigold flowers have a mild citrus flavour. Use them in sandwiches, salads, fish dishes and hot desserts.
