Offering uniquely variegated bicoloured flowers, the Rift Series represents a landmark in Lobelia breeding. Striking up close but equally dramatic from afar, Lobelia 'Rift Blue' boasts pure white flowers streaked with soft blue. The mounded, bushy plants are ideal for containers and hanging baskets, triumphing over summer heat to produce masses of flowers all season and into autumn. Height and spread: 20-30cm (8-12in).

When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise lobelia plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days before transplanting them into their final containers in any, well drained soil, in a sunny or semi-shaded position.
