Flowering Months

Lilium ‘Freckled Joy’ has large, creamy-apricot flowers with yellow splashes in the centre, sprinkled with dark red freckles. The pollen-free blooms won’t stain furnishings and along with their sturdy stems they are perfect for vase displays. Their short and sturdy habit makes them well suited to containers.

Asiatic lilies are tough, bulbous perennials. Despite their exotic looks they are easy to grow, and unlike oriental lilies which require acid soil, they are happy in all alkaline to neutral soils providing it is free draining. These unfussy but glamorous lilies will reliably return every year to bloom throughout July and August. Height: 45cm (18”). Spread 25cm (10”).

How to Grow

Plant in a sheltered spot in full sun and a rich, fertile but well drained soil. Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering.
