Description
From early summer, a profusion of frothy pink blooms will smother this pretty dwarf lilac. This hardy little shrub is perfect for growing in containers on the patio, where its rich, sweet fragrance will fill the air. Like all Syringa, Lilac 'Dwarf Pink' will attract plenty of pollinating insects to its nectar rich blooms, making it equally useful in wildlife gardens and sunny borders. With a neat compact habit, Lilac 'Dwarf Pink' is perfectly proportioned for smaller gardens without the fear of it taking over. Height and spread: 100cm (39").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow lilac plants in rich fertile, well drained, neutral or alkaline soil in full sun. Dwarf Lilac plants may be grown in containers if preferred using a loam based compost such as John Innes No.3.
More Info
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season while young plants become established. Prune lilac bushes in winter or spring by removing any damaged, diseased or misplaced stems before lightly shaping the remaining stems. After pruning, apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost to the base of the shrub.
