Description
Iris 'Mysterious Rainbow' Mix brings together a lovely blend of colourful Iris flowers. The showy blooms of these elegant Dutch Iris will flutter in the breeze, above narrow, strap-like foliage. Easy to grow, they make fabulous border plants, dotted between other perennials or planted in large swathes. Dutch Iris also make superb cut flowers - perfect for those summer bouquets. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 15cm (6").

50 iris bulbs (TKA7213)
25 iris bulbs (KA7178)

How to Grow
Plant Dutch Iris bulbs in autumn, at a depth of approximately twice their own height and 10cm (4") apart. Choose a position in full sun on any free draining soil. To create a natural effect, cast the bulbs across the area and plant them where they land. Alternatively, plant bulbs in deep containers of loam based compost such as John Innes No. 2.
More Info
When growing Dutch Iris, allow their foliage to die back naturally before removing it in order to feed the bulb for the following spring. If growing Iris in containers, feed with a high-potash fertiliser after flowering to encourage larger bulbs to form. Lift and separate overcrowded clumps of Dutch iris bulbs in autumn.
