Harvest leaves evenly from each plant to maintain a neat, balanced appearance, and to prolong the cropping period.

Germinate herb seeds at a temperature of 18-20C (64-68F) on the surface of a good free draining, damp seed compost. Apply a fine sprinkling of vermiculite, 3mm (0.25") deep. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 14-21 days. Do not exclude light, as this helps germination. Transplant herbs individually when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3") pots and grow on a bright, sunny windowsill.
