Description
This colourful Hemerocallis Collection is a fabulous re-blooming variety that will begin to flower early in the season and produce further flushes throughout next summer.

Like all Daylilies, the individual flowers are short lived, but the blooms of daylilies can last a full 24 hours before being replaced by new blooms the following day. This reliable hardy perennial is undemanding and easy to grow, plus perfect for adding colour and with their picotee edged frills, add texture to summer borders.

Bare root daylilies are perfect for new gardeners too as they grow in most soil types and garden positions. Bare roots have the benefit of being 1 year old plants already. All they need is planting in well-drained soil and once growth starts to show water regularly and throughout the summer.

14 hemerocallis bare root plants (KA2974)
7 hemerocallis bare root plants (KA2622)

How to Grow
Plant bare root daylilies at the earliest opportunity following delivery in moist, well drained, fertile soil, and situated in full sun. Growing hemerocallis plants in dry soils or shaded conditions may reduce the number of flowers produced.
More Info
For the best performance keep day lily plants well watered whilst they are in flower and deadhead faded daylily flowers regularly. In autumn remove any old, ragged foliage and apply a mulch of well rotted manure or garden compost around the base of daylily plants.
