This mix of stunning hellebores is another world exclusive from Thompson & Morgan’s own breeding team. Truly breath-taking, these anemone-flowered hellebores are 100% true to type - something that hasn’t been achieved before.

With an exquisite central ruff of small petals, pleated like a ballerina's tutu, these are the most beautiful hellebores yet. They look so delicate, but in fact they are incredibly tough and long-lasting perennial plants, coming back year after year and blooming at a time when there isn’t much colour in the garden.

Long-flowering through the coldest months and into early spring, hellebores are amongst the UK’s favourite winter-flowering plants. Forming neat clumps of evergreen foliage, these hardy hellebores maintain their appeal year round. Ideal for perennial planting schemes, this charming double-flowered hellebore mix will look spectacular planted on a gentle slope where the unique patterns and colours of the blooms will be easy to admire.

Bees love these hardy perennials too. Winter-flowering plants provide much-needed nourishment for these helpful pollinators during the coldest months of the year.

And remember - hellebores make unusual and very striking cut flowers and look fantastic in a vase, brightening up a room during the gloomy days of winter! Height: 45cm (18"). Spread: 40cm (16").

Customers will receive one of each variety shown. Plants will flower from the following season.

Packs contain: 'Aurora', 'Juno', 'Ceres', 'Diana', 'Discordia' and 'Juventas'

How to Grow
Pot up hellebore plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. When plants are well grown, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Plant hellebores in neutral or alkaline soil, in dappled shade. Hellebores prefer a moist, humus rich, fertile soil that does not dry out in summer or sit waterlogged in winter. When growing hellebores on heavy clay or free draining gravel soils, add plenty of well rotted leaf mould or other organic matter to the soil prior to planting.
More Info
Mulch hellebores with well rotted manure or garden compost each spring. Hellebores resent disturbance after planting and may take some time to re-establish. However when clumps become overcrowded, lifting and dividing of hellebores should be undertaken immediately after flowering. Caution: Hellebore sap may irritate the skin and eyes. All parts are harmful if eaten.
