Description
Add evergreen colour to your planting schemes with this superb Licorice Plant. Helichrysum thianschanicum 'Icicles' is grown for its slender, silvery leaves, which are richly aromatic when crushed. This tactile hardy perennial forms a low, dense mound of foliage that is topped with clusters of tiny yellow flowers from July to September. Awarded an RHS AGM for its garden performance, it thrives on light soils in hot, sunny sites, becoming drought tolerant once established. An excellent choice for adding texture to sunny borders and containers. Looks particularly effective in gravel gardens and rockeries. Height: 25cm (10"). Spread: 30cm (12").

How to Grow
Grow Helichrysum in light, gritty, non-acidic soil in full sun. Helichrysum requires excellent drainage, particularly during the winter months. Where necessary, add some grit to the soil prior to planting.
