Description
Something different from the run of the mill shrub offering. This hardy compact shrub stands well in exposed sites and coastal gardens, taking on a woody base to withstand the weather. Will grow softer in sheltered conditions. Unusual toothed, bronze foliage is topped by delicate small, red flowers in autumn. Sowing this upright compact shrub from seed is a low cost way to start a low hedge with a difference. Height: 1m (39in). Spread: 50cm (20in).
