This suet fat ball feeder is a great way to provide energy packed food for small garden birds, such as great tits, especially during the winter months. The feeder has space for 3 to 4 suet balls (depending on their size) and has a lift-off lid, so it can be filled easily. The plastic sides help keep the suet balls dry, and exposes, the bottom one, in a metal cage, so the birds can feed from it. Once the bottom suet ball has been eaten, the one above will drop into the frame, as a replacement.
The large hanger makes it simple to put in position. An ideal spot is from a bird table, a metal frame feeding station, a pergola, a garden arch, or a tree branch.
