Description

Trailing balcony Geraniums are the most popular trailing variety across the UK, for their gently trailing stems and vibrant colours. Geranium 'Ville de Paris' is the perfect pelargonium for filling your baskets and window boxes with a kaleidoscope of long lasting summer colour. These bold red flowers are easy to grow and drought tolerant making them ideal for planting in a sunny location where they will continue to thrive until the first frost. Trails to: 60cm (24"). Spread: 30cm (12").

How to Grow
Pot up pelargonium plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise trailing geraniums to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days before transplanting them into their final positions in containers, baskets and window boxes. Plant geraniums in a sunny or semi-shaded position, in any light, non-acidic, well drained soil. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on.

Feed and water plants frequently. Deadhead faded geranium flowers to encourage more spectacular blooms to be produced.
