Hardy Geraniums are cottage garden essentials, providing an abundance of colourful blooms in summer. This collection brings together 3 flamboyant, double-flowered varieties. Every bloom is a pretty posy of vibrant colour and unlike their single flowered relations, these hardy geraniums won’t self seed, so the flowers last even longer. These Cranesbills will quickly blend with other herbaceous perennials to create colourful groundcover, and look equally attractive in borders or containers. Height and spread: 60cm (24").
- Collection comprises:
- Geranium pratense 'Azure Skies' - Clumps of exquisitely finely cut foliage make a lovely backdrop for the sky-blue flowers.
- Geranium pratense var. pratense f. albiflorum 'Laura' - Long lasting, weather resistant, double white flowers are produced from June onwards on upright, downy stems.
- Geranium pratense ‘Summer Skies’ - The double blooms of Geranium pratense ‘Summer Skies’ may look delicate but this hardy herbaceous perennial is tough and undemanding.

Pot up plug plants and grow them on in a bright, frost-free location. When plants are well grown, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions before planing outside in their final position. Plant hardy geraniums in any well drained soil, in sun or shade. Water well to settle the soil around the roots.
More Info Water hardy geranium plants regularly throughout summer until fully established. Remove old foliage and faded flower stems throughout the growing season to promote continuous production of fresh growth. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of hardy geraniums in spring to maintain their vigour.
