You'll be familiar with blue flowering gentian plants and you've likely seen white flowered forms, but you'll be blown away by the blue and white striped flowers of Gentiana 'Royal Stripes'. This rare new variety really brings a wow factor to the genus. Look closer at the impressive blooms and you'll also see vibrant green freckling standing out on a white canvas. Whether you use these compact herbaceous perennial plants in patio pots, borders or rockery displays, the carpet of colour is sure to attract attention from friends and family as well as bees and other pollinators. In return of a little deadheading, flowers will just keep on coming from early June through to October. Flowering Months
Water gentian plants regularly until they’re fully established. Provide additional water during particularly hot, dry periods. Cut back faded gentian flowers to just above the rosette of foliage to keep plants tidy.
Plant gentians in full sun or part shade, on light, fertile, reliably moist soil in rock gardens, alpine troughs, raised beds and containers. On heavier soils, incorporate plenty of grit to improve drainage, prior to planting.

Plants, bulbs, corms, tubers, shrubs, trees, potatoes, etc. are delivered at the appropriate time for planting or potting on. Orders for packets of seed incur a delivery charge of £1.95.
