Description

Create explosions of fabulous colour on your garden patio this summer with our great value Garden Ready Duo. Our garden ready plants are selected for garden performance, straight from the nursery. We send them to you 'green' ahead of flowering (but please note some varieties may show a few blooms), which means plants will establish quickly and all their energy goes into producing better roots, so they produce more flowers throughout the season.

Your collection includes;

  • Geranium 'Jackpot Mixed' (30 garden ready plants) These weather tolerant, F1 hybrid pelargoniums have more than enough vigour to ensure a spectacular, free flowering display throughout summer. Geranium 'Jackpot Mixed' produce masses of colourful single blooms on neat compact plants.
  • Begonia 'Apricot Shades' (30 garden ready plants) You can expect a broader range of colours and 50% more colour-edged picotees from Begonia 'Apricot Shades Improved' - which means you'll enjoy even more non-stop stunning colour and impact in your garden.

60 garden ready plants (30 of each variety) (KB1855)

How to Grow
Pot up pelargonium plants and grow them on in warm frost-free conditions. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise geraniums to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days before transplanting them into their final positions in containers, beds and borders. Plant geraniums in full sun, in any light, non-acidic, well drained soil. Pinch out the growing tip of each stem to encourage branching and form a bushier plant which will produce more flowers later on.
More Info
Feed and water geranium plants regularly, particularly during hot, dry periods. Regular deadheading of geranium flowers will encourage further blooms to be produced throughout the summer. Feed and water begonia plants frequently throughout the growing season taking care not to over-water, as this will cause new begonia flower buds to drop. Deadhead the single female begonia flowers to encourage more of the large double male flowers to be produced and to extend the flowering period.
