Description
Fuchsia 'Rocket Fire' certainly doesn’t shy away from attention! This is a particularly free-flowering variety that produces a lavish display of large, 3-toned, double blooms. Rose pink sepals sweep back to reveal frills of pink outer petals, which surround a ruffle of purple inner petals. Fuchsia ‘Rocket Fire’ is a vigorous grower, forming an upright bush throughout the summer. A superb patio plant for filling containers, or plugging gaps in summer borders. Height: 90cm (36"). Spread: 50cm (20").

How to Grow
Pot up fuchsias using well drained compost such as John Innes No.3, and grow on in warm, frost-free conditions. Pinch out the growing tips while fuchsia plants are still small to promote bushier growth and more flowers. When plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a 7 to 10 day period, before planting them in their final positions in patio containers and sunny or semi shaded borders.
More Info
Feed and water fuchsia plants frequently throughout the summer to promote an endless supply of flowers. Deadhead faded fuchsia flowers to prolong the flowering period.
