The next generation of climbing fuchsias has arrived! Fuchsia 'Pink Fizz' offers a huge improvement over the climbing favourite 'Lady Boothby'. Showy and free flowering, the dangling pink blooms are produced along the entire length of the stem and not just on the tips. The vigorous upright stems can extend by up to 1.5m (5ft) in a single season, making it perfect for covering walls, fences, arches and obelisks. Tolerating temperatures down to -10°C (14F), this hardy fuchsia is tough enough to be permanently planted in a border getting bigger and better each year. Height: 1.5m (5'). Spread: 90cm (36").

The Pink Fizz' Complete Tower Pot Collection includes: 5 Postiplug plants, 25 litres of incredicompost™, 100g of incredibloom® and 1 Tower Pot™ pack.

Flowering Months
Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season. Deadhead faded fuchsia flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced, and tie the stems to their supports with twine or soft plant ties. Apply a deep bark mulch around the base of hardy fuchsias in autumn to protect the roots from winter cold. Prune out the oldest stems in spring when the fresh buds begin to break, and reduce the remaining stems to restrict their vigorous growth to the available space.
Pot up Fuchsia 'Pink Fizz' using well drained compost such as John Innes No.3, and grow on in warm, frost-free conditions. Pinch out the growing tips while fuchsia plants are still small to promote bushier growth and more flowers. When plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over a 7 to 10 day period, before planting them in their final positions in patio containers and sunny or semi shaded borders. Choose a site where they are protected from cold winds over winter. Provide a sturdy support, such as a plant climbing frame or trellis, to support the long stems of climbing fuchsias as they grow.

5 postiplug plants received lunchtime 12 April but despatched on 7 April - looking a little fragile after 5 days in transit. Have potted on as instructions so fingers crossed that they recover. Could T-M consider quicker delivery method?

Paid £25 for 5 plugs a tower and pot. Didn't grow well at all. They reached less than half way up the tower. Hopefully they will make it next year.

Fuchsia Pink Fizz 2016-01-08

Bought a few of these and planted in Incredicompost and added Incredibloom. Plentiful of blooms, both pink and white which look stunning. Should be re-named to Pink/White Fizz !!!! Bought quite lot of plug plants from Thompson & Morgan this year and I am pleased to say that all plants grow way over my expectations. Must add that I am not a seasoned gardener.

Pink Fizz at Driftwood 2015-09-30

Beautiful flowers but for me did not grow as well as expected which surprised me as I am generally good with fuchsias. No vast growth on any of the 6 plugs I have. Fingers crossed they do better in second year.

T&M replied on 2015-10-01: Thank you for taking the time to post your review. I am sorry to hear that the plants have not grown as well as anticipated. I hope these perform better in their second season once they are more established.

I'm 'over-fuchsia'ed! 2015-07-26

These plants have grown very well and are a joy! They're in teracotto pots but now the sweet peas have finished, I'm preparing that ground for them. This is a coastal garden so they'll need fleece protection some days in winter from wind.
