Description
An attractive, new, columnar shrub with fine, dark green leaves, which turn buttery-yellow in autumn before falling. Multi-stems with a narrowly upright and columnar growth habit make this hardy plant almost bamboo-like. Once established, Frangula alnus 'Fine Line' has an interesting, mottled bark. The flowers are insignificant, but are white in colour and appear from May to August. Height: 250cm (98"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Plant in a moist but well-drained soil, in full sun or part-shade. Frangula prefers to be grown in consistent moisture and adapts to a variety of soils.
More Info
When watering, try to water thoroughly rather than little and often. Frangula prefers to have its roots constantly damp and by soaking the soil, you’ll help the roots to survive during the dry period.
