Description
Following the success of 'Candy Mountain' and 'Snowy Mountain' comes the next individual colour in the 'Mountain' Foxglove series. With the same upward-facing flowers as its cousins, Foxglove 'Candy Mountain Peach' is the perfect perennial for adding height and structure to the back of cottage garden borders. The unusual colour of its peach-tinged and delicately dotted trumpets will attract bees - as well as the admiration of your neighbours! Height: 140cm (55"). Spread: 45cm (18").

Sowing
Sow seed on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays and cover with a very light sprinkling of vermiculite. Seal container inside a polythene bag and keep at a temperature of between 18-29ºC (65-85ºF). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination usually takes 14-30 days. When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays.
More Info
Water foxglove plants regularly until fully established. Foxgloves self-seed freely. If seedlings are not wanted, deadhead stems of foxglove flowers as the blooms fade. In autumn, cut back old stems to encourage plenty of new side shoots. Caution: All parts of foxgloves are toxic if eaten, and contact with the foliage may irritate the skin and eyes.
