Fatsia is an excellent, instant impact, architectural shrub for mixed borders or tropical gardens. The evergreen plants are glorious, with 45cm (18") wide, palmate foliage, which is glossy and weatherproof.
Fatsia japonica is robust, hardy and fast-growing, quickly filling a gap in the border, in sun or shade. During the summer, globular white flowers appear which change to black seedpods by autumn. Plants are low-maintenance and long-lasting. Height and Spread: 2.5m (8.2').
Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Plant Fatsia japonica into moist, but well-drained soil in sun or dappled shade. Plants will perform best in a sheltered corner.
More Info Fatsia do not require much pruning, other than to remove any unsightly shoots and tidy the plants, this should be done in spring each year.
