Description
Unlike many Euphorbias, this Marsh Spurge thrives in boggy, wet soils and the shallow margins of ponds. Euphorbia palustris forms attractive, branching mounds of fresh green foliage that are capped with vibrant chartreuse flowers from late spring. From late summer this native perennial often turns to shades of yellow and orange, extending its season of interest well into autumn. Euphorbia palustris is a hardy and undemanding and holds an RHS AGM for its garden performance. A lovely choice for reliably moist borders, woodland areas, bog gardens and pond edges. Height and spread: 90cm (36"). Planting depth: Zones 1 & 2 to 10cm (4") below water level.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

Euphorbia palustris requires virtually no maintenance. Leave the old stems to die back naturally before removing them as this will aid winter bud formation. Always wear gloves when pruning Euphorbia plants to protect skin from the milky sap. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes, harmful if eaten.
