Description
Euonymus planipes sits quietly in the background throughout spring and summer, but steps into the spotlight in as autumn approaches. Scarlet fruits dangle from the branches like jewels, cracking open as they mature to reveal eye-catching orange seeds. The foliage turns to a glowing pink-red colour that makes an unmissable focal point. This large, deciduous shrub tolerates a wide range of conditions and requires little maintenance once established. Height and spread: 2.5m (8’).

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Euonymus plants on moist, but well-drained soil in full sun or partisl shade. Plants will tolerate exposed and coastal gardens, and may give better autumn colour when grown in full sun.
More Info
Spindle trees are low maintenance and require very little pruning - simply trim them to remove any dead, diseased or damaged growth. Caution: harmful if eaten.
