Description

Make a bold statement in your garden with these big specimen plants. The Foxtail Lily is ideal for growing through perennials and shrubs, and for filling borders. The metre-high flower spikes are quite spectacular.

Eremurus 'Cleopatra' gives unmiussable summer colour and is sure to impress the neighbours. It may look exotic, but the plants are actually really quite hardy in the garden, and will form clumps well once established. Height: 1.2m (3.9'). Spread: 1m (39").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Plant Foxtail Lilies into well-drained soil in full sun, plants can also tolerate sandy soils. For best results, mix some grit into the planting hole when planting out your Eremurus. The foliage can tend to look unsightly at times, so disguise this by planting so that the flower spikes grow through other plants.
More Info
Support Foxtail Lily plants with stakes or canes as they grow, and watch out for the early spring shoots, which could need a mulch protection.
