Description
This lovely South African plant produces slender spires, packed with pretty tubular blooms, over a remarkably long flowering period. Diascia 'Eternal Flames' will fill borders, beds and containers with vibrant shades of orange and pink from June to October. Although Twinspur is generally grown as an annual, it is actually perennial and hardy to -8C (18F), so it can be easily overwintered with some protection from winter weather. Height and spread: 30cm (12").

How to Grow
Pot up Diascia plants into 9cm pots and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When Twinspur plants are well grown, gradually acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Transplant Diascia outdoors on well drained, reliably moist soil in full sun.
More Info
Water diascia plants regularly to ensure that the soil does not dry out. Deadhead faded diascia flowers throughout the summer to encourage more blooms to be produced.
