Description
Dianthus ‘IQ’ is a fabulous interspecific hybrid of D. barbartus and D. chinensis. The result is a mix of early flowering plants with vibrant, bi-colour blooms! The fragrant flowers are produced freely throughout the summer in a range of four colours. With a dwarf, uniform habit, these robust plants form dense, bushy ground cover when planted en masse in beds, borders and containers. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 30cm (12").

How to Grow
Pot up Sweet William plug plants and grow them on in frost free conditions for transplanting into borders and containers later on. When all risk of frost has passed, and plugs are fully rooted into their pots, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Plant Sweet Williams in beds and borders in fertile, well drained soil in full sun.
More Info

Feed and water Sweet William plants regularly until they are fully established. Deadhead faded Sweet William flowers to encourage more blooms to be produced throughout the summer.
