Description
  • Multi-flowering yellow cosmos
  • Fantastic cut flower
  • Great companion plant; combines well with other border and patio plants
Fabulous pale yellow cosmos with striking central white eye. Our plant breeding team took a very bright yellow, but late-flowering Japanese cosmos variety and crossed it with earlier-flowering cosmos with better, shorter habits. The resulting delicate, subtle yellow blossoms of Cosmos 'Lemonade' are produced en masse throughout the summer on short, branching cosmos plants.

Fantastic for patio pots or as a robust and oh-so-floriferous border filler - its colouring and habit means that it combines well with most other plants in bedding or container displays. Cosmos 'Lemonade' also makes a great cut flower and looks stunning in a vase, either on its own or mixed in with other flowers. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 40cm (16").

Our garden ready plants are selected for garden performance, straight from the nursery. We send them to you 'green' ahead of flowering (but please note some varieties may show a few blooms), which means plants will establish quickly and all their energy goes into producing better roots, so they produce more flowers throughout the season. All Garden Ready Plants are grown in incredicompost® and fed with incredibloom®, guaranteeing best ever performance.

How to Grow
Pot up cosmos plants and grow them on in warm, frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. When all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise cosmos plants to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days before planting out in beds, borders and containers. Choose a position in full sun on any moist, well drained soil.
More Info
When growing Cosmos plants, water regularly until they are fully established. Deadhead faded Cosmos flowers regularly to encourage more blooms to be produced throughout the summer.
