Description
A well known variety of Californian Lilac that has earned itself a coveted RHS AGM. Ceanothus 'Puget Blue' produces conical, deep blue flower heads, smothering the foliage to create a stunning, hazy effect from May to June. The small, dark green leaves are evergreen providing year-round colour in a sheltered position. This hardy, medium sized shrub is ideal for the back of mixed borders or trained against a sunny wall as a colourful wall shrub. Height and spread: 2.5m (8’).

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

2 x 3.6 litre potted ceanothus plants (TKA3079)
1 x 3.6 litre potted ceanothus plant (KA3078)

How to Grow
Plant Californian Lilac into any fertile, well-drained soil. Choose a position in full sun with shelter from cold, drying winds. Ceanothus may be grown as a free standing specimen or trained against a wall or fence.
More Info
During spring each year, trim back the previous year’s flowered stems to within 2 or 3 buds of the woody framework.
