Description
Few plants are as versatile and reliable in the garden as this Japanese Sedge! Its arching foliage creates a fountain of green and white variegated leaves that remain evergreen, even through the coldest winters. Carex ‘Feather Falls’ is ideal for softening borders and adding movement and texture to planting schemes. It makes a fabulous specimen for the patio too, especially as part of a mixed winter container. Once stablished, this clump forming perennial needs very little maintenance, and thrives in both sun and shade. Height: 40cm (16"). Spread: 60cm (24").

1 x 1 litre potted carex plant (KB4934)
2 x 1 litre potted carex plants (KB5283)

How to Grow
Pot up plugs and grow them on in cool, frost free conditions until plants are well grown. Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions over 7-10 days before planting out in there final positions. Plant Carex into any moist, but well-drained soil in sun or partial shade. Brilliant for patio containers, mixed with flowering plants, use a John Innes no. 3 soil mixture.
