The Cuckoo Flower thrives in cool, damp borders and shady waterside locations. Cardamine pratensis produces clusters of dainty lilac, white or purple flowers on upright stems above clumps of finely cut foliage. This variable hardy perennial is a British native that provides a valuable source of food for the Orange Tip Butterfly. Cardamine pratensis is best grown in large drifts in damp woodland, meadows or as a marginal aquatic in the moist soil at the edge of ponds. Height: 45cm (18"). Spread: 30cm (12"). Planting depth: Zones 1 & 2 to 10cm below water level.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.
