Description
Bellflowers can sometimes flower and fade all too quickly, but Campanula 'Iridescent Bells' really is quite different! This new, repeat-flowering variety will bring four months of colour to the garden from June through September - a constant mix of silky deep purple buds and mature blooms of silvery-white bells, flushed with palest purple. Don't miss the opportunity to be among the first to grow this unique perennial which will make a focal point in a container display or border planting. Height and spread: 60cm (24").

Culinary note: The flowers can be used as garnishes but are also dried and then cooked in Asian cuisine. For more details about edible flowers click here.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Pot up campanula plants into pots of free-draining compost, and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outside. When all risk of frost has passed and plants are well grown, acclimatise them to outdoor conditions over 7 to 10 days. Grow Campanula outdoors in any moist, fertile, well drained, non-acidic soil. Bellflowers will thrive in sun or semi shade, but the dainty bell-flowers will last longer in a slightly shaded position.
More Info
Water regularly until Bellflower plants are fully established. Support tall Campanula flower stems with garden canes as they grow. After flowering, cut plants back to remove faded Campanula flowers to prevent them self seeding, and to promote a second flush of blooms.
