Wherever you plant them, these low maintenance bulbs will return year after year, to welcome the spring to your garden.

Bulb Saver Collection comprises:

  • Crocus 'Ruby Giant' - Crocus 'Ruby Giant' is an early cultivar with large purple flowers blooming from as early as February. Height: 10cm (4"). Spread: 5cm (2").
  • Muscari armeniacum - The classic Grape Hyacinth - Muscari armeniacum produces densely packed spikes of tiny deep blue flowers from April to May. Height: 20cm (8"). Spread: 10cm (4").
  • Brodiaea 'Queen Fabiola' - Starry clusters of deep blue flowers burst from clumps of fine, grass-like foliage in late spring and early summer. Individual flowers open continuously for a month or more extending the bloom time. Also makes an excellent, long lasting cut flower. Attractive to butterflies and other insects. Height: 30cm. Spread: 15cm (6”).
  • Iris 'Dutch Mix' - This colourful mix of traditional Dutch Iris are sure to brighten your beds, borders and containers in shades of purple, lilac, white and yellow. Height: 50cm (20"). Spread: 15cm (6").

How to Grow

Plant spring bulbs in sun or semi-shade on well drained soil. Alternatively, grow bulbs in containers of loam based compost such as John Innes No.2. Plant the bulbs at a depth of approximately 3 times their own height.

After flowering, allow the foliage to die back completely before removing it in late summer.
