Description
This compact dwarf butterfly bush is a fraction of the size of traditional varieties - perfect for growing in smaller borders and patio containers. With a bushy, well branched habit, Buddleja davidii 'Peacock' is as showy as its namesake bearing masses of mauve flowers from July to September. The scented blooms are constantly busy with butterflies and other pollinating insects, making a fabulous eye-catching garden feature. Height and spread: 120cm (48").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Plant Buddleja in garden borders in any moist, well drained garden soil, in full sun or semi-shade. Alternatively grow buddleja plants in patio containers using soil based compost such as John Innes No.3.
More Info
Feed and water container-grown plants regularly. Buddleja planted directly into borders will require only occasional attention. In spring, prune Buddleja plants back to a permanent low framework of 3 or 4 buds from the base of the plant. Deadhead faded buddleja flowers to prolong the flowering season.
