Description
Never before will you have seen such a unique dwarf birch as this little gem. Stunning yellow leaves with fine veins appear in spring, turning gold in summer. Betula nana 'Golden Treasure' is a slow-growing, spherical shrub, which will contains its typical, compact shape throughout regular pruning. Extreme winter hardiness makes this an excellent choice for an exposed position in the garden, requiring little maintenance in a sun or partly shaded area. Suitable for planting in all well-irrigated types of soil. Height & Spread: 100cm (39").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Birch on any moist, fertile, well drained soil. Birch thrive in full sun or lightly dappled shade and are generally tolerant of windy positions.
More Info
Feed and water Betula until fully established. Once established, Birch trees require no maintenance. If pruning is necessary to remove diseased or misplaced stems then this should be carried out in winter when the plant is dormant, as Birch has a tendency to bleed sap if pruned during the growing season.
