Just £3.49

Description Sowing Delivery Reviews
The best pomponette bellis ever introduced! Flowers are slightly larger than normal pom - pom types, on compact, short, strong flower stems, that bud up uniformly. The bright colours of rose, deep rose, red and white, will all give excellent garden performance, in containers or borders. Height: 15-20cm (6-8in).

Culinary note: Using masses of individual petals makes a colourful garnish for soups and salads. Useful for decorating cakes and biscuits too. For more details about edible flowers click here.

Sowing Time: June to September. Sow in pots or trays of moist seed compost and cover with a very fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Keep at a temperature of between 15-20C (59-68F). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination. Keep the surface of the compost moist but not waterlogged; germination will usually take 7-21 days.

When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3in) pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10-15 days before planting out in October for winter flowering, 15cm (6in) apart. For best results, provide a moist, well-drained soil in full sun or part shade.

Fabulous little troupers 2012-05-13

I bought these as plants rather than seeds and they have been wonderful in the border near the kitchen. They have flowered their little socks off all winter. I planted them in the autumn but due to the mild winter, they started flowering in November and have been flowering ever since. I was expecteing them to die off by now but the flowering has become even more intense since early april and they are still going strong in May. The best value plants I have ever bought and the pink colouring makes a nice change form the usual spring colours.
