Description

Prolific with striking double bicolour blooms throughout the summer season, Begonia elatior ‘Valentino Pink’ effortlessly perks up a shady patio, window box or hanging basket with a vibrant splash of colour. Performing best in spaces which are out of direct sunlight, the generous clusters of zingy pink blooms with ruffled yellow centres make a vivid contrast against the dark foliage. Enjoying lower light levels, this pretty variety also makes a fantastic house plant, brightening your home or conservatory with its splashy, tropical-looking flowers. Height: 30cm (12”). Spread: 25cm (10”).

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Begonia plants can be enjoyed indoors or transplanted into their final containers on the patio. When all risk of frost has passed, acclimatise begonia plants to outdoor conditions over a period of 7 to 10 days, before placing them in their final positions. Choose a sunny or semi shaded position that is protected from strong winds.
More Info
Feed and water Begonia plants frequently throughout the growing season taking care not to over-water, as this will cause new flower buds to drop. Deadhead faded begonia flowers regularly to extend the flowering period and encourage more blooms to be produced.
