Description
Possibly one of the easiest plants to grow in any garden and especially popular in cottage garden themes, Aster ‘Lavender’ is a perfect addition for late summer and autumn colour. This compact, hardy perennial will burst forth in August with a smothering of beautiful violet/blue daisy like flowers that will continue to give you a generous show right through until the end of autumn. Once these plants are established in your beds or borders, they will come back year after year and we guarantee you will look forward to seeing them bloom, as will many bees, looking for a late chance for nectar. Height: 100cm (39"). Spread: 50cm (20").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

1 x 2 litre potted aster plant (73596)

How to Grow
Plant Michaelmas Daisy plants into fertile, moist, well drained soil, and situate them in full sun or semi shade. Add plenty of well rotted manure or garden compost to the soil prior to planting.
