Description
Aquilegia ‘Swan Red & white’ produces an abundance of large, red and white, showy flowers on long stalks in the summer. These tough and easy to grow perennials will soon form large drifts of colour if allowed to naturalise in your beds and borders and this variety is no exception! A cottage garden favourite and a traditional customer favourite, aquilegia look great in beds, containers or popping up in woodland gardens too! Height: 30cm (12"). Spread: 25cm (10").

5 aquilegia Postiplug plants (KA6620)

How to Grow
Pot up aquilegia plants and grow them on in frost free conditions until large enough to plant outdoors. Grow aquilegias in sun or part shade in any fertile, moist, well drained soil.
More Info
Columbines hybridize readily. If seedlings are not wanted, deadhead faded aquilegia flowers to prevent them self seeding. Aquilegias dislike disturbance but overcrowded clumps may be lifted and divided in spring when necessary.Caution: irritant to skin and eyes, harmful if eaten.
