This vibrant Chinese Anemone bears a profusion of deep pink flowers in late summer. Each tightly rounded bud reveals semi-double flowers, with delicately rolled petals that fade to paler pink as they mature. Anemone hupehensis var. japonica 'Prinz Heinrich' makes a delightful border perennial, forming a spreading clump of palmate, dark green foliage. An elegant and easy to grow plant that makes a pretty cut flower and is well loved by bees and other pollinators. Height: 75cm (30"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Plant your Anemone plants out on moist, fertile, well drained soil in sun or dappled shade. Plants are generally unfussy and, once established, will last for years, although try to avoid excessive winter wet.
More Info Cut back anemone flowers as they fade. Lift and divide overcrowded clumps of anemones in spring or autumn. Caution: irritant to skin and eyes.
