This exquisite foliage plant will certainly attract attention! The arrow-shaped, evergreen leaves reach up to 60cm (24") long making a magnificent focal point. Each dark green leaf is patterned with contrasting silvery-white veins that make this plant visually stunning. Alocasia x amazonica makes a superb specimen plant for a lightly shaded spot in a warm room or conservatory – perfect for adding a lush, jungle feel to your home! Height and spread: 1m (39").

Alocasia require bright filtered light, well away from the scorch of direct sun. Choose a warm room with a constant temperature above 15C (59F), and position the plant away from central heating and draughty doorways.
More Info Water Alocasia regularly allowing the soil surface to dry out between each watering. Always allow the pot to drain properly afterwards. In winter, reduce watering to prevent the soil becoming soggy and waterlogged, as this will cause the plant to rot. House plants should be fed regularly between March and September when they are in active growth. Alocasia appreciates a humid atmosphere - stand it on a tray filled with pebbles and water. As the water evaporates it will increase humidity around the plant.
