Description

This magnificent mix combines blue Agapanthus 'Blue Ribbon' and white Agapanthus 'Ever White' for a striking two tone display.

In summer these tough, fast growing and drought tolerant perennial plants, lend their stature to borders and patio containers, where their architectural seed heads continue the display well into autumn. The large spherical blooms are also magnificent in cut flower displays and are perfect for dotting in clumps in beds and borders. The blooms rise on stiff, upright stems above clumps of evergreen, strap-like foliage. This duo make a superb addition to sunny borders, adding contrasting colour and architecture to planting schemes. Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 60cm (24").

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant delivered will vary depending on the season, meaning arrival images are an indication only.

How to Grow
Grow Agapanthus plants in rich fertile, well drained soil, in a sunny position. When growing Agapanthus in patio containers use a soil based compost, such as John Innes No.3 .
More Info
Feed and water African Lilies regularly throughout the growing season. Leave faded Agapanthus flower stems intact to enjoy their architectural seed heads during autumn. When the first frost blacken the seed heads, cut the stems back to ground level. Protect plants outdoors from severe winter weather by providing a dry mulch of bark chips or straw in late autumn. Container grown plants can be moved to a frost free position over winter. Divide agapanthus clumps in spring when they become over crowded.
