Our B2C division focuses on our mail order channel selling directly to our customers via catalogues, online marketplaces and in conjunction with our clients.

We are currently recruiting to fill two positions within our B2C team:

Reader Offer & Promotions Account Manager

The role holder will develop and maintain robust business relationships with assigned clients communicating with them regularly and attending off site meetings where required. You will work closely with your clients to understand and manage their requirements effectively.

Marketplace Account Manager

Taking responsibility for Marketplace account management, the role holder will ideally have previous experience and understanding of the online marketplace environment and ability to analyse sales data and ensure all products are generating and growing sales.

In these sales-focused roles, the successful applicants will be able to demonstrate their commercial awareness and drive to increase sales to develop and maintain assigned accounts, maximizing current opportunities and identifying new sales opportunities in line with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • - Management of allocated budget for assigned accounts and generation of planned gross margin
  • - Identify and develop sales opportunities by researching and utilizing the product range, monitor competition and react to potential opportunities for sales growth
  • - Plan, prepare and cost appropriate product offers within the commercial guidelines agreed, monitor the marketing materials to ensure adherence to the Best Practice Guidelines
  • - Monitor and report on customer service levels and product satisfaction including checking of customer reviews and monitoring of refunds and replacements
  • - Liaise with internal teams to ensure service levels and quality expectations are consistently achieved, and any issues are reported and rectified in a timely manner

Candidate Profile:

The successful candidates will have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and an ability to interact with individuals on all levels inside and outside of the Company building lasting and productive working relationships.

Willingness to develop in-depth business and product knowledge and having a proactive approach in indentifying new sales opportunities as well as ability to deliver solutions and meet deadlines is fundamental in this role.

In addition you will need to be PC literate (MS Office package) and have the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and handle changing priorities. The role holder will also have a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.

‘A’ level (or equivalent) qualifications or previous experience in a similar role is required.

We are a non-sales environment Contact Centre and deal with inbound calls only. Our Customer Service agents are responsible for every aspect of our customers’ experience, from the initial processing of orders right through to handling enquiries. We receive contact through a range of channels such as telephone, post, email and social media.

Successful candidates will need to be motivated, have excellent communication skills and understand what it means to deliver good service. Previous experience working within customer service will be an advantage but is not essential. If you're a keen gardener, even better!

We are currently recruiting for various hours and shifts, including part time hours, all shift patterns will include an element of weekend working and/or late shifts.
