Chilli Pepper 'Basket of Fire' F1

Capsicum annuum, Chili Pepper

A wonderfully productive and decorative chilli pepper. The unique, bushy growing habit of Chilli Pepper 'Basket of Fire' makes it perfect for hanging baskets and containers. This colourful variety becomes smothered with small, hot chillies which mature from deep purple through yellow and orange to a bright shade of scarlet red, creating a fabulous display. Plants show good tolerance to cool weather and will continue to fruit outside well into the autumn, and even longer under glass. These powerful peppers have a Scoville heat rating of around 80000shu, and once harvested can be dried or used fresh from the plant. Height: 30cm (12"). Spread: 50cm (20").

Sweet Pepper 'Mini Bell Improved Mix'

The latest breeding development in mini sweet peppers, all the way from the USA! This three colour mix of orange red and chocolate, just gets better and better. Each plant produces small but stocky, blocky fruits. Ideal for UK greenhouse and patio growing. What's more, the bigger the pot you give them, the bigger they get and the heavier they crop. For easy maintenance we recommend planting in a 2 litre pot to keep plants at around 1m (3') high. Chilli Pepper 'Poblana Ancho' (Mild)

This exceptionally mild variety is suitable for even the most delicate of tastebuds. The large, shiny, bottle-green fruits are mildly pungent with a tinge of sweetness making them ideal for stuffing and roasting. Fully ripe red fruits can be used for powders and sauces. This superb Thai, RHS AGM variety has a very compact habit making it ideal for growing in pots on the windowsill or in containers on a sunny patio. Each highly decorative Chilli Pepper 'Super Chilli' plant carries masses of slender, pointed, lime-green fruits which turn red, increasing their potency as they ripen. Height and spread: 30cm (12").
