Direct sow peas outdoors from March to early July, once the soil has warmed. Choose a weed-free position on moist, fertile, well drained soil in full sun. Sow pea seed in flat bottomed drills at a distance of 5cm (2") apart, and 4cm (1½") deep. Allow a distance of 75cm (30") between rows. For successional crops, sow peas every 10 days.
Support pea plants with twiggy sticks, wire or netting as they grow, and use fine netting to protect pea crops from birds and pea moth damage. When growing peas, regular and thorough watering especially when in flower will improve crop yields. Harvest peas around 14 weeks after sowing when the pods have swollen. Regular picking will encourage further cropping.

Not 4 separate packets

A shame that the seeds are all in 1 packet and not able to tell them apart. I did read they can all be planted at the same time with different maturity dates but it has screwed up my veg plan somewhat. I can work with it though but I feel I was misled with advertising.
Thank you for your review. I am sorry to learn of your disappointment. The website does state that this item is a 'seed mix', and would state whether it is supplied in multiple packs. This is designed to be sown as a mix.
All varieties mixed together unlabelled
By Jack Wallington 31-01-2016
The seeds are all fine and I'm sure will grow OK but it's a shame they do literally come all mixed together. I had hoped to compare each one as the plants grow and on harvesting and eating. I might be able to do this by trying to work out each plant, but it will be tricky and I can't have nice neat lines of varieties for easy comparison.
Other than that, I am always very happy with T&M seeds as they always germinate and do well, so it's a minor gripe for plant geeks like me :)
Thank you very much for your review. I was pleased that you were happy with your purchase and thank you so much for taking the time to let us know. The pea starlight and pea terrain are available to purchase separately. Hopefully you'll enjoy the surprise once the plants start cropping! I hope we can continue to be of service to you in the future.
