Second Early


Second early potatoes should be planted up from March to late May and the small, new potatoes will be ready to harvest in approximately 13 weeks. They will benefit from 'chitting'before planting and can be grown either in the ground or in potato patio planters.

High yields of mouth watering, oval ‘baby new potatoes’, with a firm waxy texture and bright, creamy skin and flesh. With a delicious flavour, Potato ‘Piccolo star’ is absolutely superb as a boiled ‘new potato’ or left to cool as a salad potato. Height and spread: 60cm (24")
