Potato 'Athlete'

Solanum tuberosum

Second early.

Although previously available in supermarkets during the 2012 Olympic Games, Potato ‘Athlete’ has only just been released to the amateur gardener. Enjoy high yields of pale yellow tubers which won’t disintegrate on boiling and maintain their superb taste whether eaten hot or cold. This second early potato also shows good resistance to golden eelworm and blackleg. Height and spread: 60cm (24").
