Grow this new British bred Genovese type for a 100% purple leaved Basil with increased vigour, uniformity, and traditional 'cupped' leaves. Basil 'Crimson King' makes an excellent ornamental edible adding a bright splash of colour to the herb garden, and is ideal grown on the windowsill, or in containers or baskets outdoors in the summer.
