Essential with roast lamb, the dark green aromatic foliage of rosemary has a multitude of culinary uses. This shrubby evergreen is ideal for a sunny herb garden and even survives in poor soils, requiring very little maintenance. Height and spread: 150cm (59in).

Grow Rosemary plants in any well drained soil in full sun at a distance of 60cm (2”) apart.

Rosemary is undemanding and requires little aftercare. Prune lightly in late spring to maintain an attractive shape.

Culinary note: Rosemary goes well with lamb and chicken. Add Rosemary to tomato soup and stews. Rosemary tea is said to help headaches, colic and colds.
