Carrot Jeanette F1 produces rich orange, smooth skinned roots. Vigorous foliage allows for easier pulling.
March to July, at monthly intervals for continuous crops, in a well prepared sunny spot. Sow seeds thinly 13mm deep, in broad drills 30cm apart.
Thinning not necessary for 'bunching carrots'. For larger roots thin to 25mm apart. Keep well watered.
Later sowings for maturing in the autumn can be lifted and stored in trays of dry sand or compost in the shed or garage.
